Summer Holiday

Just got back from Spain and portugal. Myself, James Parry and Trev Garland travelled there for the Vans Salinas Longboard Festival. The event was great with fun waves, live music, film showings as well as top loggers Joel Tudor and Alex Knost who put on an inspring display of proper longboarding. Me and Trev made it through several rounds whilst Parry got third in the final and won best wave in the oakley expression session.

From Salinas we travelled to viana do costello in portugal and met up with the cornish team for the Interceltic watersports games. we again scored great waves and fun parties. I finished fourth in the open with James in second, the win going to Devon's Ben Haworth. Trev got third in the junior longboard ahead of Devon's Zak Lawton.

The rest of our trip was spent exploring the northern coast of spain, spending the last few days at playa de somo, surfing some of the funnest logging waves all summer. Along the way we picked up 10 alaia blanks from Tom Wegener to import to the U.K.

sick trip boys.
